Sara Arber is President of the International Sociological Association Research Committee on Sociology of Ageing. Kate Davidson is the President of the British Society of Gerontology (BSG), Ingrid Eyers is Honorary Secretary of the British Society of Gerontology and Rob Meadows was recentlyon the Executive and Scientific Committees of the British Sleep Society (BSS).
